Southfield Veterans’ Commission to host benefits seminar Friday, September 19

The Southfield Veterans’ Commission will host a Veterans’ Benefits Seminar on Friday, September 19 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. in room 115 of the Parks and Recreation Building, 26000 Evergreen Road.

The program is open to all Southfield military veterans and spouses and will cover topics ranging from medical, dental and burial benefits to women veterans’ health programs. Representatives from the Oakland County Veterans Service Office, the Pontiac VA Medical Center, The Great Lakes National Cemetery and the Dingell VA Medical Center will be on hand to answer questions and conduct presentations.

The Southfield Veterans’ Commission is a 501(a) non-profit commission of the city of Southfield that provides education, employment and benefits assistance to area veterans.
