The Southfield Fire Department will hold their annual awards ceremony at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2645’s Patriots Day (9/11) Remembrance program on Thursday, September 11 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the VFW hall located at 24222 W. Nine Mile Road in Southfield.
The program will honor veterans, firefighters and all those who have served their country or sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. The Southfield Firefighter of the Year Award and other commendations will also be presented.
