The city of Southfield will present the annual Burgh Park Gazebo Concert Series every Wednesday throughout the summer from June 18 – August 13, 7 – 8:30 p.m., at the Burgh Historical Park located on the northeast corner of Civic Center and Berg Road.
This year’s lineup includes:
June 18 Creole Kitchen Jazz Band (The sweet sounds of New Orleans
June 25 Motor City Brass Band (Musical variety)
July 2 Straight Ahead Trio (Smooth, cool and classic jazz)
July 9 Carl Cafagna & Soundlove (Popular music from the 1940s and 1950s)
July 16 The Fats Waller Revue (Musical tribute to the legendary songwriter)
July 23 Phil Ogilvies’ Rhythm Kings (Big band and hot jazz of the 1920s and 1930s)
July 30 Hot Club of Detroit (Lively and infectious gypsy swing)
August 6 Moose & Da Sharks (Fun 1950s rock n’ roll)
August 13 Paul King & the Rhythm Society Swing Orchestra (Classic 16-piece swing band)
