The City of Southfield will present the next installment of the Treasurer’s Financial Lecture Series on “The Look at Me Marketing Approach,” Thursday, June 19 at 6 p.m., inside the Southfield Public Library Auditorium.
The program will be conducted by Small Business Professional President Charlene Jeter, who will provide an overview of various marketing methods designed to assist entrepreneurs in maximizing their resources and capturing the attention of their target market demographic. Topics that will be discussed include: strategic marketing and implementation plan creation, discovering new and innovative ways to brand products and services, free marketing and public relations tools development, marketing matrix and referral generation and gaining exposure through collaborations with area businesses.
Charlene Jeter earned her MBA in Marketing and Management from Wayne State University in 2004 and has been an entrepreneur since 1995. She actively participates in various community business events and belongs to numerous professional networking groups while teaching entrepreneurship, management and accounting courses at Cleary University and the University of Phoenix.
