(SOUTHFIELD, Mich.) - The city of Southfield will host a reception for Southfield businesses in commemoration of the City’s 50th anniversary on April 28 at 6 p.m. in the Southfield Pavilion, 26000 Evergreen Road in the Southfield Municipal Complex.
The reception is invitation only for Southfield businesses to recognize their commitment to the City. Awards will be given to businesses based upon the number of years that they have been located in Southfield. The event will also feature live entertainment and hors d’oeuvres provided by some of Southfield’s top restaurants.
The reception is sponsored by the City and the City’s 50th anniversary sponsors Fifth Third Bank, Providence Hospital, Comerica Bank, Kojaian Companies, Etkin Equities, Observer & Eccentric Newspapers, Detroit Jewish News, the Southfield Sun, Michigan First Credit Union, Denso, DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, Telcom Credit Union, Lawrence Technological University, Eaton Corporation and Lumigen, Inc.
