Everyone is
invited to help Southfield light up the holiday season at the annual
Southfield Municipal Tree Lighting Ceremony on Monday, December 4 at
6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 26000 Evergreen Road.
Special guests
Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and five-year-old Chance Keathley, winner of
the 19th annual Snow Drop Contest, will assist City officials with
lighting the City's official holiday lights in front of City Hall. As
winner of the Snow Drop Contest, Chance will have a yard full of snow
delivered to his home on Monday, December 18 at 3:45 p.m.
Following the
lighting ceremony, everyone is invited inside the municipal building
for refreshments and visits with Santa. For more information, call the
