(Southfield, Mich.) - Southfield residents will head to the polls on Tuesday, November 6 to vote for four of the six candidates for Southfield City Council and for two proposed charter amendments.
Southfield City Cable 15 will air a public candidates’ forum that was sponsored by the League of Women Voters – Oakland Area and the Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce on October 16 at the Southfield Public Library. The forum was a moderated session that allowed council candidates to articulate their views on numerous city issues to help residents find out more about them. The candidates’ forum will be aired in its entirety on City Cable 15 on the following dates and times leading up to the election: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30 p.m.; Fridays, 8:00 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays, 3:00 p.m.
