(SOUTHFIELD, Mich.) – The Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce will host an economic forum, “Surviving in the Present Michigan Economy,” Monday, October 15, 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Westin Hotel Southfield located at 1500 Town Center.
The program will begin with a continental breakfast followed by a panel discussion featuring five leading business professionals who will discuss how to address the challenges of competing in local and global economic settings. A question-and-answer session will immediately follow the panel discussion. Panelists include: Jonathan Liebman, President, Specs Howard School of Broadcasting; Michael Poulos, President & CEO, Michigan First Credit Union; Alan McCord, Executive Director, LTU Online Services; Robert Hoban, Sr., Vice President Strategy and Business Development, St. John Health; Joe Berwanger, VP and General Manager, Comcast Spotlight Michigan. The panel will be moderated by Charles Langton, attorney, producer and host of the cable show “Legally Speaking.”
