Southfield City
Treasurer Irv Lowenberg and the Southfield Chamber of Commerce will
present Thursdays with the Treasurer, a new lecture series for local
businesses and entrepreneurs. The first installment, “So you want to go
into business: Let’s take a closer look!” will be held on Thursday,
February 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Southfield Public Library auditorium
located at 26300 Evergreen Road.
The series
will be conducted by Don Reimer, president of The Small Business
Strategy Group and a member of the adjunct faculty at Lawrence
Technological University. Mr. Reimer will provide a 30 – 45 minute
presentation followed by a question-and-answer forum. The next topic “A
Business Strategy in Today’s Environment – A Must!” will be held on
Thursday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the Southfield Public Library
auditorium.
The lecture
is free and light refreshments will be served; however, space is
