(SOUTHFIELD, Mich.) – The Southfield Parks and Garden Club will sponsor the 1st annual Southfield Garden Walk on Sunday, July 22 from 4 – 6 p.m. at five homes throughout The Ravines subdivision located at Nine Mile and Inkster Roads.
The walk will showcase five residential gardens featuring a variety of sun and shade gardens, annuals, perennials, specimen trees, and herbs. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased in advance or on the day of the walk. The walk will begin at the Hardy residence, 23019 Timberline, with bus service provided between the other homes on the tour. The Southfield Parks and Garden Club (SP&GC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works to keep Southfield beautiful. The club is a grass-roots, city-wide organization whose members assist with various curb appeal initiatives to beautify yards, neighborhoods, parks and other public spaces throughout Southfield.
