Southfield Mayor Brenda L. Lawrence will deliver the keynote address at Central Michigan University’s 2007 Off-Campus Graduation Ceremony on Sunday, June 3 at 2 p.m. at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts, 44575 Garfield Road in Clinton Township.
Mayor Lawrence, a CMU alumnus, will address 190 bachelor and master’s degree graduates along with over 800 of their guests. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony for the students, their families and guests.
Since 1970, over 59,000 Central Michigan University off-campus students have been awarded degrees through the University’s extended degree programs at over 60 locations throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
