Permit Inspections on Sidewalk and Approaches
The Sidewalk Repair Program has a full time inspector that inspects the Sidewalk and Approach Permits that have been issued by the Engineering Department. The inspector will assist the property owner or their contractor as to what might need to be removed and replaced along their property so as to bring it up to ADA and City Standards preventing a future citation from Code Enforcement. The inspector will check to make sure the grade is prepared properly and the thickness of the concrete is per the City’s requirement.
