Liquor Licenses

The Michigan Liquor Control Commission requires approval by the local governing body for various liquor license requests and permits. The City of Southfield local Liquor License Application (pdf) must be completed in full by each applicant and returned to the City Clerk’s office for processing.
 

Did You Know?

  • You can apply for a U.S. Passport at the City Clerk’s Office

  • All U.S. citizens traveling by air to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda, are required to have a U.S. Passport Book. 

  • On June 1, 2009, the requirement for a passport will be extended to include all land and sea travel as well.  A Passport Card is a valid form of identification in addition to a U.S. Passport Book.

  • You can obtain certified copies of birth records (Southfield births only) from the City Clerk’s Office

  • The election cycle for 2010 includes: Gubernatorial Primary Election, August 3, 2010; Gubernatorial General Election, November 2, 2010
