Election Inspectors Needed

The City Clerk’s Office is seeking applicants to work as Election Inspectors for all elections held in the City of Southfield.

Michigan law allows students age 16 years or older to work at the polls. Applications from workers of all eligible ages are welcome. You must be a registered voter in Oakland County. Compensation for Election Inspectors is $140 for the full day (6 a.m. until polls close and election results are reported); Chairpersons receive $180 for the day.

Did You Know?

  • You can apply for a U.S. Passport at the City Clerk’s Office

  • Effective January 23, 2007, all U.S. citizens traveling by air to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda, are required to have a U.S. Passport
