The Cornerstone Development Authority(CDA) board of directors held a strategic planning session in March, 2005. At that time, the board redefined its strategic plan for 2005 through 2007. The strategic plan begins with the mission statement of the CDA. The mission statement acts as the overall vision of the board for the entire Cornerstone District. Four objectives were recognized during the session: strengthen the economic vitality, maintain a secure and comfortable community, upgrade the Northland Shopping Center and, upgrade the Millennium Centre. The board has held itself and the CDA staff accountable in accomplishing these objectives through 2007. Listed under each objective are goals or tasks the CDA must take to accomplish each objective. Goals will vary or change through continued work of board designated sub-committees established to focus on the four objectives. The sub-committees formed include: Government Relations, Development, Public Safety and Marketing, Millennium Centre and Public Improvements. The work of the sub-committees will determine how the CDA will accomplish the assigned goals.
