Landscape Projects
The Cornerstone Development Authority along with the City of Southfield is working on re-landscaping J.L. Hudson Dr., Nine Mile and Providence Dr. which should begin in Spring 2007.  Landscaping beautifies the city and adds to its appeal. 

Former Stouffer Site
The Cornerstone Development Authority is working with the City of Southfield Director of Planning and Development to redevelop the former Stouffer site on the corner Northland Dr. and the Northwestern Hwy. service drive.

Integra Project
A 182-condominium, 9,000 sq. ft. retail project on the corner of 8 mile and Northland Drive is in the planning phase. 

Village at Cornerstone Project
This project has been highly successful with an Outback Steakhouse, a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins, and a condominium complex.  The final phase of this project will include development of a dining facility and other unspecified retail or dining opportunities. 

Millennium Centre Marketing
Marketing efforts have continued to establish the Millennium Centre as a regional theatrical facility.  Efforts include the search for an experienced theater and facilities operator.  Please contact the Cornerstone Development Authority for more information, (248) 796-5190.

  • That the Cornerstone District is home to Northland Shopping Center. Northland was the first large shopping center built in the region.

  • That the Cornerstone District is home to Providence Hospital. It's the only hospital around named a Top 100 Heart Hospital in the nation six years in a row.

  • That Northland Mall is over 1.7 million square feet in size and there are currently 122 stores. 

  • That the Cornerstone District is home to over 700 business and service organizations, including IBM, Guardian Alarm, Target, Macy’s, Kroger, Panera, Pizza Papalis, Outback Steakhouse, SBC and Fox 2 news.

  • Panera Bread, located in the Village at Cornerstone shopping plaza, offers free wireless internet access to all patrons.
